GARUDA Archiving and Indexing Policy

The Journal of Information Technology and Computer System (JITCoS) is indexed in GARUDA (Garba Rujukan Digital), a scholarly publication discovery and indexing platform managed by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia.

Through GARUDA, the bibliographic metadata, abstracts, author information, publication details, Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs), and links to published articles in JITCoS are collected, indexed, and made accessible to researchers, lecturers, students, librarians, and the wider academic community.

JITCoS permits GARUDA to harvest and display journal metadata and provide access to the original published articles through links to the journal’s official website. Where available, GARUDA may also provide access to the published article files while maintaining proper attribution to the journal, publisher, authors, DOI, and original publication source.

The official JITCoS website remains the authoritative source for the Version of Record. Articles accessed through GARUDA must retain their original bibliographic information, copyright notice, licensing statement, and DOI.

When an article is corrected, updated, withdrawn, or retracted, JITCoS will update the information on its official website and, where technically possible, ensure that the corresponding record in GARUDA reflects the current publication status.

The availability of JITCoS content through GARUDA supports:

  • Wider dissemination of published research;
  • Increased visibility and discoverability of articles;
  • Improved accessibility to Indonesian scholarly publications;
  • Accurate citation and bibliographic identification;
  • Integration with the national scholarly publication ecosystem; and
  • Continued access to journal metadata and publication records.

Indexing or storing article information in GARUDA does not transfer copyright ownership. Copyright and reuse of JITCoS articles remain governed by the copyright and licensing policies stated on the journal website and in each published article.

JITCoS is currently available and discoverable through the GARUDA scholarly publication portal.
